Illinois provides several public record channels, yet each answers a different question. The Christian County Sheriff and Jail handle local booking and custody material. The Circuit Clerk preserves filed charges and dispositions. Illinois State Police maintains the statewide criminal-history repository and registry, while the Illinois Department of Corrections reports state-prison custody. We organize verified contacts, official searches, request steps, and documented fees around those custodial lines.

Only the issuing office, such as the sheriff, Circuit Clerk, or Illinois State Police, can provide an official criminal record. The document must come directly from its custodian.
