The inspection-day population of 36 is a one-day operational fact, not a measure of current custody or arrest volume.

Christian County Sheriff FOIA Requests
The county-hosted sheriff form asks for the requester name, street address, city, state, ZIP, telephone, represented person, case or incident number, event date, type and location, and details for up to two involved people. Record choices include offense or incident report, phone recording, radio recording, and photos. Delivery choices are mail, pickup, or email if possible.
Identify the approximate date and time, place, involved person, report number if known, and exact product. The form says email delivery has no charge. The first 50 black-and-white pages are free, then the sheriff lists 10 cents per page. An audio disc is $3. Photo reproduction is actual cost when CD or email will not work, and mailing is at requester expense. The stated response period is five business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
Illinois FOIA permits redaction or withholding for specified law-enforcement harm, privacy, juvenile, victim, medical, and identifying interests. Ask for reasonably segregable nonexempt portions. A written denial should give a reason, and Public Access Counselor review is generally requested within 60 calendar days.
Recent Arrests and Booking Logs
Christian County does not reliably advertise a comprehensive public historical booking archive. Start with the jail phone for a current inquiry and inspect only a roster reached through the official sheriff source if one is available.
